Although there were Ladies Singles competitions prior to 1993, no record of winners previous to that year can be found.
For some years after 2006 there were no entrants for this competition and so it was decided to make what was the Mens Singles an open competition for both men and women and the Ladies Singles competition was retired. The Mens Singles was renamed the 4 Wood Singles.
All Malton club competitions are now held in open format for both men and women.
